Just picked up this BB at the Carolina Open. I believe the cue was made in the 90's. I checked the White Veneer and through a Jeweler's Visor and a 4x loop it shows grain. I was told it had Ivory veneers. Will get another opinion. Casey

Black Boar

Casey; In the early days Tony used compressed white paper for his veneers. The graining you see is actually the layers. His shop is about 15 miles away, and I have been a constant student for years. JP

Nice!!!

Nice looking Black Boar! Makes me even more enthused about getting mine soon!! :)

Ivory, phenolic, paper.......bottom line is, the white veneer looks awesome on Tony's cues.

Congrats.

I saw Tony this summer and he pretty much mentioned the same thing to me when we were talking about his early construction techniques.
Jon - Tony did point your picture out on the wall for me and we did talk about the fancy cue you have...Got to love that one.

Casey - That is a very nice cue and I am sure you will like the hit.
I know I love the hit of my six pointer BB as well.

Thanks for the replies from everyone. The cue hits awesome, but I can't play with the Predator shaft do to the fact I twist my wrist too much. Again thanks for the replies. Casey
