For sale, a 6 point Black Boar cue.

This is a rare opportunity to buy one of the 80 or so 6 point cues that Tony Scianella made. It is ebony into bird eye maple, and has 2 fancy ivory and silver rings in the butt, and another of ivory diamonds above the handle. The cue comes with 3 shafts, one of which is a bit warped, the other shafts and the butt roll straight together and apart.

The butt is in excellent condition, and has barely been used since it was freshened up by Michael Vollmer a few years ago. I do not have weights, tip sizes etc off hand, but can measure them up tonight and pass them on via PM.

Asking price is $5200 including insured shipping.

NEW PRICE $5000 including insured shipping....

New Price $4800 including insured shipping...

Thank you for the kind wishes, the cue plays superbly, but I recently got my hands on another fancier one, and it is just being greedy having two ;)

These were made to be played, and this would just sit in my case now...

what would this cue sell for new?

Moot point Sir, Tony only does fancy 8 pointers now. Maybe you could get a plain jane african blackwood for similar money, but I am no expert. One thing is for sure, there is only a certain amount of these 6 point cues around.

Trades welcome if it is something traditional

Tony doesn't make them anymore an won't build them either. That custom logo is rare. Tony only builds 8pt cues and sometimes he takes prize African Blackwood pink ivory & certain kind of rosewood an makes high end players out of them

When he made them, they sold for atleast that and way more. In this market it's hard to say? It's a fairly close price give or take

The African Blackwood players ya can't touch for under 6,000 atleast for a plain one

Thanks for the information 9BallKing, I appreciate it.

Keep the offers - cash or trade - coming...
