As promised to a couple folks, here are some pics of my two main players. I've got 3 more cases dedicated to 9 more cues....but these are what I currently use.

299th cue made by Tony Scianella for Black Boar Industries.

Plain Jane Ebony Mike Bender (still need one more shaft to fill the case).

Custom ordered Jack Justis Prolite 2x4 case.

you still have that titlist black boar right??

i sure hope so! that cue was a keeper!!

chris

"a keeper"- you do know mark, right??? sorry mark, that one was too easy.

Very nice set up.
Now trying out one anothers cues will be much easier since we will be able to try each others Black Boar or Bender.
But I think we will have a hard time getting my Jump/Break cue away from Matt. He really likes how he breaks the rack with it.

Looking forward to our next session on the greens...

:) :)

One would think that one has built a reputation of constantly rotating cues....wouldn't one?? ;)

No problem, Guy.....I deserve it. After looking back at some of my threads over the past year and some change....I even amaze myself!! :)

Yeah....I'd watch out for that guy!! Took a direct threat of a wedgie to get my Bender out of his hands!

Looking forward to our next round, Myron. I'll drop you a line later this week to try and seal something up for Saturday.

Why buy cues when I can shoot with one of 8 Ball Rat's 10 zillion cues and break and jump w/ Myron's custom sledgehammer?

Thanks much, sir. It's a killer cue, and a VERY pleasant addition to my collection!!

You will meet the quota stated by Matt by the end of the month... :D

Have a great day,

After playing with that BB cue (Rat kept taking back his Bender....darnit) I must say that I like it just as much as the Bender and played well with it. Really easy to control the cue ball. Of course, Rat won't let me have that one either. Whats with this guy??????????? He's a cue tease.

Mark, is that a brass pin on the Bender? Haven't seen that from him, I've always seen titanium.
Hiya Axe!!

I believe it IS a brass pin, sir.

I thought the same as you....I had only seen the silver metal pins (titanium or steel, I assumed). The brass, while unseen while playing (of course) with the cue, is a nice little touch. Just a subtle tweak to an already smoothe looking cue.

How's that Jensen treating ya??!! :) :)

Just stirring up your creative pot, Matt....so you can reach out and get one of each for yourself.

Who knows, sir.....once I get my higher-level Black Boar in May, you very well might get a shot at this one!!.........or perhaps not! Time will tell!! :) ;)

Yeah that's interesting. I haven't even hit with the Jensen yet, broke my collarbone a few weeks back and had surgery. I might take it out this weekend and shoot a bit but it will be with an Minnesota Fats style stand-up stance since my flexibility is limited.
