Does anyone know if Tony sells his selected tips to the general public? (I don't own one of his cues) Thanks in advance.

no he dosent as a rule, he buys alot of boxes of tips and keeps the good ones for his customers, he might sell his 2nds which are still good tips. I have had Tony do a few tips for me and still all the effort you put into trying to determine if the tip will be good when its been on your cue for a month-its still alot of luck. Granted Tony's choices reduce the chances of a bad tip but it dosent eliminate all bad tips.
Just by chance I have the best tip I have had in years on my cue rite now, the last few have all been fair at best so I guess I was due. When you get a good one you'll know it.,
he wont install a tip on a Black Boar if he dosent know you, before I knew him I was playing with a nice 8pt Boar, on Cornerstonecustomcues.com there is a pic of the heel of the cue on the top left, I called him and offered to pay all the shipping and lots of $$ if he would change out the tips for me, he turned me down. Nicely but still turned me down, that was a few years ago, now I know him and he most likely would do tip work for me, but I have bought a cue from him. He aint about $$$, and $$$ wont move Tony.
you can call and ask if he will send you some tips, tell him I said hello that might help-I dont know. Were good friends nowdays. But I respect Tony and dont bother him with tip work, I have mine done at Southwest in Vegas cause thats where I'm at.
