i dont have pics but my threads in other appropiate forums were not helpfull
heres my question
ok to pm me your answer
got to hit with a black boar last night
WOW
thanks to billy for letting me try it out
i dont think i can afford a "plain" (used loosely) black boar and i would think the african blackwoods would be less expensive(icbw) but how similar or not do they play
also what ball park price should i expect to pay for an african black boar and an old logo vs new logo "plainer" balck boar
thanks for educating me on this subject

i know this is not the right forum but i suspect you guys would have the experience to answer my question.....:)
p.s. i might want to buy one.......:D

Woods are like fingerprints, no two are the same. You can have any cue maker build two exact cues from the same lot of woods and they will not hit the same. Since wood is a natural material, it will vary greatly from one piece to another.

Hay Mr. Larry

Call me up and maybe I can help. Also Tony or Donnie at Black Boar Cues would be most helpful.
No matter what wood you choose you will pay for what is built. They only use a premium wood selection that other Cue makers can only claim to use. Black Boar Cues uses woods as is so to speak that need no staining to achieve their final appearance.
That statement speaks volumes. The inlay work is sometimes 3 or more layer work.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tony would build a collector like you something special for less than you could get 2nd hand.
Had some great Polly and Nuf Duf Pape tonight,
Nick :)
