BLACK BOARS For Sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats an intelligent remark...............
If he NEEDED the money ,yes this would be the way to do it but i certainly dont think we should put everything on FLEABAY and let that JUDGE the WORTH of any goods ESPECIALLY fine works of art.....Now i would also have to tell you that i dont think BB are worth the money they bring but who am i to say........ ????? :)

I was just saying...if he really wanted to sell them and wasn't getting any bites, that IS an option. I appreciate your snoddy reply though. Heck, I hope any who is an honest seller (as I've heard nothing but good things about Tank from guys like 8 Ball Rat who I believe sold him a Boar or two) gets all that they can for whatever they sell.

As much as I like all of your Boars, I am really only looking for 6pt and 8pt Boars. That is where my intrests are right now.

Having said that, I might be intrested in the pair of RS-1, contact me through my website and we can discuss them, if you like.

Thanks
Craig

Someone with cash:)
Such a good deal it must have been.
Glad you had a chance to hold it for a short time (definately longer than the previous owner).

Good luck with the sale on the remaining cues.

Sorry buddy for the snide remarks, but sometimes on this site you get a few people that seem as though they dont understand the ups and downs of buying and selling cues, as with everything in life ....... Didnt mean to disrespect you sir as it might have seemed................:)

Sorry my time of possession didn't match up to expectations......

I'll brief up the family that my cues are higher in priority than their overall well-being.

Besides, I was supposed to have first rights on this cue if he ever sold it......

BUMP to the top...

BUMP to the top, just because..."deleted by me"
If you dont have anything nice to say....

Sorry Mark but after our last phone conversation I figured you had to address your family instead. Also,I knew you would not go that high in price.
Give me a call & we will make a steel jointed one get in to your hands .
I will do better than we discussed before.

Tom,

I understand your thought process, sir.....but our last conversation had nothing to do with me getting my 6-pointer back. We spoke only of the older models, none of which I felt were worth the cost (to me, anyway). The 6-point was one that I was already prepared to take hold of, if and when the time came.

That was a cue that I hunted pretty hard for, was able to get Tony to make perfect again (plus a ton of upgrades)...was written up in all it's glory, to include references to me, my story, and Tony's hard work on it for me....and I sold that cue to you with the expressed and agreed-upon condition that I would have first shot at it to get it back.

My disappointment doesn't come from the fact that you sold the cue for a profit, chief.....good for you. It stems from the fact that (and I told you this when I sold it) I wanted to get the cue back in my hands, and would have Tony "tune it in" for me. Now the cue's gone, and part of our agreed upon deal just went south.

Now Mark, I do not want to get in to a contest with you about it.
But also as part of our deal You told me I could have first option on My Mottey I traded to you remember? Yes you did call me the day after you got it & said you loved it , then a couple of days later you told me you were going to sell it . We spoke on the phone I never got a price from you for it.Then the same day you sold it to Classic with out getting back to me.Now that cue is gone as well.
So You also had part of the Expressed & agreed upon Deal go South .
Like you always do ,you want the other guy to set the price weather you are buying a cue or selling it.That's what you have tried with me every time we tried to work a deal.
Also lets not talk about profit -I know what you paid & how much you spent for the repairs to the cue...Chief ...good for you as well.
Your skills of the Auctioneer on the Boar was good I must admit ,now that I found the person I was bidding against and had the pleasure of talking with.
Also as stated by you in the Black Boar news letter you stated to Tony the cue did not play.

So to bury the B.S. I am offering to help you get a steel jointed Boar in your hands for less than we talked about on the phone.

I hope this helps.

If the BB ever goes that high, I may be able to retire with that money and your 401K!

You can have the second shot on the Barry cue (first one already spoken for).
Tap your 401K - I want it all! :D

I will catch up with you after Labor Day.
Got busy on road trips and just took a break from it all.

Alright, Tom. You win.

You're completely right....and I'm completely wrong.

I'm shocked that you'd make sarcastic comments about my sales ethics, though. Ask around bro.....you'll be hard pressed to find somebody that would say I WASN'T a completely fair guy to deal with. During the sale of the Boar, I was completely up front with you about somebody else making a move on it. I called you 6 times that night, matter of fact. You won out, to be honest, due to our agreement that I would get a shot at it, if you let it go. The other gentleman already had a new owner in mind for the cue...thus taking me out of the running to get it back. Part of our conversation also entailed the fact that Tony told me (just as he told you) that he would continue to tune the cue in until it fit just right for the owner (be it you, me, or otherwise). He had already agreed to dial it in for me.....so that's not even an issue.

I told you about me selling the Mottey....PER OUR AGREEMENT....and you never answered me. I told you I had a firm buyer, and you didn't respond. The lack of an answer seemed to be just that....your answer. Bottom line, though....I held true to my word, and gave you first shot at it. And I DID tell you I was gonna sell it for a specified amount. Matter of fact, the dollar amount I was asking was ADVERTISED IN THE THREAD. Everybody else knew what I was selling it for.....so how could you not?

Know what?.....none of it matters. Not anymore. It's done.

Take care, Tom. Best of luck to ya. Hope the new owner likes the Boar. It's a monster.

A
