Black Palm

[Busbee Cue]

Any suggestions on sealing Black Palm before applying the final finish?

I was thinking to just use West System 105 Epoxy and 107 Resin but would like to know of any better options.

Haven’t tried Black Palm yet, but for the red palm I have used epoxy worked fine For me.

Agree with SS - work quite often with Black Palm and epoxy works fine for me as well.

Best thing to do with black palm and Wenge is to apply epoxy coat before the final taper pass.
That way the pits are sealed before you even sand it.
Saw Wenge handled cue here a few years ago. Made by a big named maker..It had dust in the pits all over. It was ugly.
