Man that is on great looking machine.. Now this may be an optical illussion but in your pics it does'nt appear that you have enough Y travel to have total use of your parts table.. Also What is the empty space behind the tail stock for?

It will have 11" in y 36" in x and 5.5 to 6" in z the space behind the tail stock is a riser block for a small mill vise to hold small parts I wanted the all the cutting surfaces at the same height so you don't have to move up and down so much
