Blud... Cue?

I have made a few cues and have experimented with joint connections. My question is what you think about the ideas I have for the joint connections. We bought one of Kersenbrocks books he wrote a few years back and I have my own ideas combined with some of his. If you would be interested in seeing what I my ideas are and in giving me your opinions, I will send them to you in a Private Message. I don't really think it would be a good idea just to post them here seeing as how I believe they are uniqe somewhat.

Joints for cues,

No hidden facts here.

The joint connection needs to as "one". Another words, it needs to fitt very well with no slack in the two joining pieces and produce a perfect alignment.. Wood to wood has only two parts, the pin and the wood shaft is goes into.

On the other hand, the cue with a piloted joint system, has a steel joint of some kind, a pin, a shaft with an insert [usually brass] that's connected to the shaft. More parts.

. Many a cuemaker use the latter system. With the avviable glues on todays market, either system will work just fine. It's all about what kind of "HIT you prefer. Wood to wood hits different than a steel joint.

Please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and this is not aimed at any one person or persons.
Again, I am here to help one and all.
