I was told it is a bludworth but I have had my obvious doubts on that. The only marking it has is APA engraved in the joint I would just like some info on the cue, or if someone would like to buy it shoot me an offer I am open to trades. thank you for your help. Oh and can someone help me post pictures from my phone?

Red dot?

If it's a Bloodworth it will have a small blood dot (circle) on the butt. Small 1/8 in dot is Leonard Bloodworth. Larger dot is a Donald Bloodworth. The small dot is more desirable IMO. The blood dot is red, hence the name. My old sp blud played just fine for the eight or ten years it was my player. Stiff hit as are most full splice cues. Leonard is on az and I bet you a donut he will be able to identify one of his fine cues!! Goes by Blud I believe. I would say no dot, not a Blud.

Dots

In the following post, Donald Bludworth says the dots are the same size in cues made by himself and his dad: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=3396359&postcount=10

Well ok then. If Donald says so then so be it! I have seen larger dots on cues before. Maybe Leonard will chime in and set us all straight. To me it made sense to have something to distinguish easily the two cue makers. McDermott made bloods? Didn't know that either. I do know I have a Blud. I guess that's all I really know for sure.

My dad sold APA Bludwoth cue's for a while.
It might be one of them.
He has also built cues with a B with a circle around it and he has done some with Bludworth Original Laser engraved on the end of the joint pin.
I hope the info is useful.
Have a great day,

Thanks Donald. Years ago this young kid asks me to look at this sp he was thinking of buying. I knew nothing about Bloodworths at the time. I shot a few games with it and told him this stick is well made and plays great. He didn't have the bucks and I bought the cue from Benny Branch from Guthrie Okla. Paid $125, it was still in the plastic sleeve! Brand new! It became my player for about ten years. Was offered $200 and more several times but it was my player. Still got it. I think the sps are fairly rare. Did Leonard make a lot of the sps? Thanks.
