What exactly is the difference between a cue made by Donald Bludworth and a cue made by Leonard bludworth? If you have a cue made by leonard and Donald refinishes it will it loose value? Just Curiose I found a scary post on another site and wanted to make sure my investment wasnt in vain. Have the two sides everhad problems?

Thanks:smile:

I don't know what the exact differences are between Father and Son, But I don't see the value dropping on these due to refinish.

Seems they would build cues based on the same principles since one learned from the other. I believe they are back together again and if you ordered a cue it could be worked on by either one. I think it is a push. Donald has had some issues in the past, but that was then and this is now.

If it were a Bushka and Pete refinished it, it might drop the value a little. But at the current level of collection value on Bludworths and the fact they are still alive, to have Donald refinish it will not devalue it at all. If the cue needed refinished it probably increased the value of the cue. It is just like returning it to the original builder, as they were partners for years and it is near impossible to know who did what to the cue in their shop. Just like my son and I overlap work on our cues and sometimes I can't remember who glued the rings on or who put it on the lathe to take a taper pass on it, etc..

if it was done on cnc donald more than likely done it. I am friends with donald and he now owns bludworth cues....pm and i can check with him how much he will charge you to do it!
