any one have any info, on why this book was delayed, and when it will be comming out? thanks in advance.

I have pre-purchased it and the company tells me expect mid to late September. No explanation of the delay.
 
I hope that they might be in Vegas, although they were to have been at Valley Forge and the book was not ready. I have called Martyne to try and get the book to the Midwest Open, but it is now up to the print co. Sorry this has been of little help!

I spoke with Ms. Bachmen at the trade show and she said that there was a delay in obtaining all the pictures that they had set up for the book. They have nearly completed that and the others are correct about the sept release date.

They were taking orders on her web-site, www.chalkers.com but they stopped taking the orders when they realized there would be publishing delays.

They are working hard to make this book as comprehensive as possible. Sue Bachmen is a top notch collector. I know they have been working very hard researching materials of historic significance.

Also, the printing is done overseas, which takes some time.
