Any idea what causes this or any way to fix it other than replacing the ferrule? Thanks, John Attachments Ferrule Marks.jpg 162.4 KB · Views: 488

Tommy-D World's best B player... Silver Member Oct 20, 2016 #5 A fresh piece of 400,denatured alcohol and a Magic Eraser will probably help. Acetone could be a disaster, unless used in very small amounts. If used incorrectly,it will even soften the melamine ferrule pictured here. Tommy D.
