I came across a little bit and I am selling some to make some of my money back. $6 for two cubes, $11 for 4 cubes packaged tight and shipped!

I guess I'm out of the loop but why is this "worth" more than the current run of masters?? Serious question!!
 
Masters Dark blue chalk

I'm told it has lead in it and works better. I heard that the old Master dark blue chalk is all that Johnny Archer will use.
Master chalk had to take the lead out.

I have metallic disease: The iron in my blood turned to lead in my ass. (watch out for this.)

I contacted Master and they said it never contained lead at anytime, and its always been made out of organic materials.

Organic doesn't neccesarily mean safe. Snake venom and ricin are all organic.

Nevertheless, I've used this kind of chalk for years and have bought lots of it here and elsewhere. I don't think there's any merit to the dangerous lead in chalk talk. If I needed it, I'd buy it without worries.

They probably just don't want to admit it. LOL
I don't know what the deal is, but if some players think it's better maybe it is. Just passing on what I was told. I use it but really can't tell the difference. Use your imagination. Some say it sticks to the tip better. Ask Johnny Archer. Hope you sell it all.
I still have about 30 cubes. ( not for sale )
 
Thanks for the talk guys, I suppose my price is fair but if not PM me please I need to unload some good chalk so i can afford to buy more when i come across it! (and will in turn sell some more to afford more) sounds familiar.. right cue fanatics?
 
I bought some of this chalk. This was my first purchase through AZBilliards (figured I'd start small). Bearsafety let me know exactly what to do to send the money and even let me know when he shipped it out. The chalk arrived today. I hope all my transactions here are exactly like this one. Thank you. I will definitely keep you in mind if I need more Pre-flag. +1 iTrader.

Pre Flag chalk

Flag was added sometime after 9-11 to show support and that it was still made in U.S.A. Their chalk formula has not changed for decades. That info is direct from Tweeten via a well known billiard supplier that buys thousand of dollars of chalk directly from Tweeten because he wondered why everyone was making a big deal out of it. Many customers were asking what the difference was so he needed to find out from Tweeten so he could tell his customers,,,, there is no difference other than the label.
 
You know, I guess it must something like a placebo then. I had heard claims that it was different. I tried it and it seemed finer. I'm sure it is just mental, but I like using it. I definitely can't say it is any different than...post-flag?. I will buy more.
 
Well, whether the composition ever changed or not may not have any thing to do with why some people like the pre flag. Maybe the age of it has something to do with it since all of it is over 10 years old. Who knows, maybe it plays better, maybe not. Some people will pay 50 or more times as much for a piece of Kamui, but I personally don't think you can take 50 times as many shots with it without chalking, or that a cube will last 50 times as long as another brand. Maybe some folks just like old chalk, like I do.
