PrntScrn can be disabled, for instance by video players that use an alpha channel to display on the desktop. (Take a PrntScrn with a DVD playing and you'll see what I mean.)
Most people don't bother doing this for static images and photos, but they could also add an transparent watermark overlay on the photos for the electronic version only.
