Guys, I don't want to create another Medici type of thread. But, what I'm curious to know, is: do the BMC cues have a higher quality that normal Meucci's? Is it the same quality or not?
I like the designs and I want to know if BMC is getting somewhere.

Are you talking about Bryan Mordt cues ? (BCM) They are nothing to do with meucci ,,or meduci or whatever. BCM cue's are customs made by Bryan Mordt. He is a very good cuemaker check his site out. They are in no comparision to the cue's you are talking about. He has very good prices as well check him out <<ED

Oh I really dont know anything about those other then Bob Meucci I guess endorsing them. Some of them look like a similar meucci design, call who sells them and ask them they should be able to tell you <<ED

BMC, Medici, Meucci= Bob Meucci
They're all the same thing.

they are supposed to be semi-custom.

What's that? A cue that is started out a custom and only half finished? Or a cue only semi as good as a custom? What exactly is a semi custom cue?

Inquiring minds would like to know......

Here's one custom semi

Oh, sorry. You said semi-custom. No such animal.

BMC cues are the same as the regular line just different designs made in a limited number run. where as the others are made for long periods of time with no limits on production numbers. but teh quality is the same. the Medici Line is the cheaper line that is made outside the states with less quality woods and inlay material.

But pretty much the same. Nothing real special. I personally would spend the amount of monwey they are asking for them. as your resale value you will never get back EVER. if you should deside to sell it.

I have been playing with a Meucci for the last few years and have not had any of the issues other have had. The BMC cues have caught my eye and would also like to see if there is anyone with some feedback on them. It seems like the cues are dressed up versions of popular Meucci cues.

Meucci cues quality control is in the dumpster. I guess if you get a good one your ok but I know a few different stories. One customer in the pool room ordered a cue and it was like .810 in the joint. Way too skinny. Another time in the room we ordered a bunch of cues from bob and all the shafts were on 28" instead of 29" not to mention warped bob replaced but how they made it out the door is beyond me.

Just a few examples. Like I said if u get a good one cool but u just don't know what you're gonna get.

I had written quite a bit, but I can sum it up with one sentence.

For 2k shouldn't you get your choice of tip in lieu of a LePro???
