Picked up one of his cues randomly in an online auction and previously had never heard of him.

Does anyone have any experience with this maker and his cues.

Does anyone know if he's still in business?

Not still in business. I believe he got out of the game years ago. I bought some of his last pieces of Brazilian rosewood in 2017.

Bob's website is still up and running. www.denalicues.com
Bob made full length core cues, all made with a purpleheart core. He's prices was very reasonable.
I'm pretty sure the finish was CA, which I'm honestly not a huge fan of, but all in all it was a very good product considering the price.

looks like that site hasn't been updated in a long time. he's gotta be in his 80's at least. UD: he's 87.

Picked up two lots of cues no makers identified but I could tell at least one was a McDermott Envy.

Turns out the other three were each a Bob Owen, Mike Lambros, and the last was the Bobby Flynn.

The Owen was very fancy and is still listed on his website:

Just heard back from Bob on FB turns out that cue was a custom build for a guy trying to match his BBC Pargon pool table. Main construction wood was Red Wood burl and all the MOP is gold lipped.

Damn Iove cue hunting on the Internet!
