I had the pleasure of having Bob Flynn make me a cue over the past few months and he recently finished it. I should receive the cue shortly, then I can post about its playability, but I'm almost certain it will play superbly, because dealing with Bob has been nothing but a pleasure thus far. I cannot recommend Denali Cues enough. Bob is great at communicating and his prices are more than fair.
Here are some pictures of the cue and the specs. The shaft is an oak shaft with a buckhorn ferrule, sniper tip, 12.5mm at the tip with a pro taper. The forearm is a piece of swirled Brazilian Rosewood, the handle is Camatillo Rosewood, and the butt sleeve is a piece of Kauri wood. There are herringbone trim rings at the end of the shaft, and at either side of the handle. The joint and butt cap are buckhorn, and the pin is G-10.
I forgot to add this: the cue weighs 19oz. and is cored with purpleheart.
