I have one of Tim's cues made in the early to mid '80s and was hoping for Bob to look it over, date and authenticate it, as well as replacing the tips,
and maybe have the wrap cleaned and re-pressed if he felt it should be done, given the value and how great the original fit and finish it's in.
I too was told by Mr. Huie that Bob "may" be able to do the work but that He is no longer taking new cue orders. I believe it best to leave it as is.
and besides, I wouldn't know who else to turn to for an appraisal. Is Bill Stroud still with us, and does anyone know how I can reach out to him?
