Bob Letherby is Ill

To my billiard friends,

I tried to get a hold of Bob Letherby and left a message today to see if he wanted to play in our club's 3c Summer league.

His son called me back to tell me his father had a massive heart attack last week and is in ICU.

He can't take calls or get flowers in ICU. He is at Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center.

Most of us in the billiard world know Bob Letherby and our thoughts are with him and his family.

and more bad news.... Ken Allswede

One of Bob's opponents over the years here in the Lansing area, Ken Allswede, passed away Monday and his funeral will be Friday.

From the Obit in the Lansing State Journal:

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America or to St. Therese Catholic Church in his name. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com

Very sorry to hear of Bob's health issues. I'm not sure if he'll remember me but we new and played together in the early 70s at Ray Abram's Cushion n Cue in Oak Park. Please let him know that he and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We wish him a speedy and full recovery.
