MADE IN THE USA
I want to thank Bob Owen & Gabriel Owen mostly for their friendship, and for the beautiful Gabon Ebony cue l received today. Bob told me a time frame which was kept, and throughout he showed me the process of the build.

6 Points of Gabon Ebony surrounded by White, Dark Blue, White, Light Blue Veneers that really pop!!
Each long point is inlaid with Spears of Paua Abalone & Ribbon Abalone wrapped in Silver.
The Gabon Ebony Butt Sleeve is elegantly inlaid with the same two Abalone’s and Silver with Elforyn.

A premium Black Spanish Bull Leather is comfortable to the hand, and gives the cue that classy look.
3/8-11 Brass Pin with Elforyn Joint & Engraved with Logo Butt Plate.

A Box Elder matching extension & Custom Engraved Joint Caps of the same wood, gives the cue a very unique look.

The cue weighs 19.5 oz which l believe is a top comfortable weight, with two Shafts @ 12.8 m m and Precision Tips.

Bob has been building high end cues for years, and has his son Gabe doing awesome work as well.
Gabe is a US OPEN CHAMPION and one of the USA’s top ever players.

Enjoy the pics everyone
Thanks again

Good freaking grief, that’s beautiful!

Did you design that, or just give Bob some broad guidance and let him do his thing?

Well l picked Gabon Ebony wood, veneers, pin, and basically asked for rings in all positions, black leather wrap, matching extension, and joint caps.
Also l asked for some inlays of Abalone & Silver.
Bob is the artist and it came out so nice.
Thanks

Cue makers seem to really do something special when you just give them basic guidelines for a build. I believe by demonstrating confidence in them it allows their artistic talents the opportunity to be fully demonstrated. And then something quite special happens. This is what happens when you trust a talented, honest skilled craftsmen to show his stuff. I did this with Dave Kikel years ago and was stunned when I opened that box.

Congrats to Bob Owen!
