I wouldnt waste your time. imho They will play 1 or 2 k headsets and thats about it unless somebody is stuck. I understand a person cant hardly afford to travel and then chop up money two or three ways unless you are betting 10k or more. So ask Larry if he wants to stop in sometime when he is in the area. Try and work something out ahead of time but the action is always on Sunday and Weds. night. I think just about anyone can get some cheap 1 or 2 k action.

That's pretty much what Bobby said too when I talked to him the other day. People have been trying to make this game for months now and it's Bobby's end that hasn't budged. It's not a huge deal if it doesn't happen, since that's kinda what we figured was going to be the case, but it's on the table if Bobby and his people want it.

With no disrespect intended, Nick Vita does not play nearly at Bobby's level. He probably needs the 7 ball.
How do you think Bobby and Nick could match up at one-pocket?

Doc

Bobby and nick played 1 hole a long time ago and got a good spot and nick still robbed him. I like bobby getting the wild 8 for 10K. I like larry for 2k. Needless to say I have no money. Just my 2cents worth of knowledge.

get some action at the tournament

suprnva do you think Larry would go to Cookeville to play in the Hillbilly Open, and then get a game with Bobby or someone else?

It depends on what else is going on that weekend. I'll mention it to him but if there is something closer to home he'll probably just go there. But if a game can be made before hand to be played there I'm sure he'd go.

How come Bobby doesn't want to play Larry like he did Archer? Just curious.

Me and Ramil might be in the area next week. Let's see how good he is. I hope he does not beg and cry for a spot. Embarassing for somebody who is looking for action.

We will look him up!!

You got the 7 for life!!!!!

Oh Mel - you and Ramil ain't doing nothing. Tell him he's got the seven......but he's got to bet something.

Your friend,
Matt
P.S. I get the wild, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 plus all the breaks. You've got action! :)

It's a stake horse issue. Bobby never should have played one of the greats of all time who is also several years younger in the first place...and he did well to beat him a set.

Bobby Pickle doesn't "beg or cry" for ANYTHING...and certainly not here. He doesn't even own a computer.

At the present time, his horse is just looking for small action for a bag or two. That kind of thing changes from time to time.,

There are a LOT of players in TN,KY and GA who wouldn't mind driving a few hours for a couple of grand. That's all that is (or should be) being proposed.

No big deal.

Regards,
Jim
