True curl in purpleheart is fairly rare. I have seen this much curly figure in purpleheart in only one other board. (Yes, I'm looking at you Joey.)
The cue weighs 18.5 ounces, the jumping portion 9.15. All metal (except the joint pins) is sterling silver, all white is juma. The ferrule is ivorine IV (underrated for jump/break IMO), the tip a white diamond.
The bocote was originally one square that was cut up and then reassembled at the sleeve and jump joint. This is a sister cue to one of my very first player cues here: http://mvpcues.com/images/finished/DC.jpg
