Bonus Ball rules and scoring video

The WPBL has added three videos to it's home page to help fans better understand the basic pro and amateur rules of Bonus Ball, as well as how to score a game without the use of a scoreboard. You can see the three videos on the home page at www.wpbltv.com The rules videos cover the BASIC rules, but not all of them. Links to the complete rules are also on the home page.
We appreciate the outpouring of support from the AZBilliards community during our playoffs, and look forward to more exciting days in the future.

*NOTE: Many are experiencing difficulties playing the videos from Internet Explorer. There have been no issues reported from Google Chrome or FireFox users.

That's great. Then after they learn how to play they can learn that your freaking scoreboard hasn't worked for a freaking year.

I LOVE bonus ball but get really frustrated by this. Please explain so I'm not so frustrated.

No, explain why the perfectly good scoreboard that not only had the shot clock timer but the 15 minute game timer was taken down about a year ago and never put back up. The scoreboard made it a blast. Such a shame.

That I don't have an answer for. Happened before I came along and really wasn't even aware. Sorry for the frustration, but thanks for sticking with us.
 
Oh yeah I bought the playoffs and loved it. As I recall, Nathan took it down to update it. Does he still work there?

Well then do me a favor and ask him what's up with that. I used to have guys that loved to come over and play. We tried the coin method. Not the same.

Unfortunately all I can say is that the status is the same as the last few times this came up... which I'm sorry to say, is that I have no update. :(

To be honest, I'm actually not a programmer. I just winged it and made the live stats, graphics engine, lighting interface, etc, because the programmer that the WPBL hired was Barry's son, and he ripped them off when Barry got fired. I won't even begin to pretend that I have any idea what I'm doing, although thankfully at least some of it worked. :o

The WPBL had replacement programers after that for week #1 of the regular season, however I don't really know if they've made any progress since then. They're pretty capable guys but are expensive, so maybe Larry is just waiting till he has extra funds?
