Book review? Jim Rydell's book

Anyone read this book?

Jim Rydell's --The Owner's Manual for the Complete Pool Player

If so, what is your opinion/rating/recommendation?

Is it exclusively for 8-ball folks, or for all players?
It seems to be home-grown text, but interesting.

I have had the book in my hand and it looks very extensive. In fact more material than I have ever seen in one book. I was going to purchase it until I found that on Jimmy Reid's website he claims that this person befriended him and then stole some of his copyright material. He is previously from Mass and now up here in Maine. I do not know any more than that.
