Same book I checked out at my local library back in the late 70’s. From what I remember Horace was obviously very good, but his close relative Walter Lindrum accomplished more in the billiard world than he did.
 
Here is a great biography of Walter Lindrum. I think everyone who is interested in cue sports should read it, both for the historical background it illustrates and to understand how Walter got to be as good as he was.
