Thanks k9b, you've ruined it ! I was waiting for the TV coverage here in Canada, which should start up in March or April 2005, and run through August or so. Now what will I do ????

I never knew they held a border battle this year, :confused:

Can anyone give some details on the event, specifically what players participated?
 
The players for the US were Earl Strickland, Johnny Archer, Rodney Morris and Jeremy Jones. The captain was Nick Varner. Playing for Canada was Alex Pagulayan, Alain Martel, Luc Salvas and a great new 22-year-old named Erik Hjorlafsen (and that is NOT how you spell his last name but I don't have my notes with me and the name is two city blocks long).

Canada took the first match and America never led until it was 4-3, so it was a very good competition this year. Alain Martel made the shot of the week by jumping into the head rail which sent the cue ball airborne back downtable and over an intervening ball to make the hit.

It was filmed at CTV studios for TSN. I have not as yet been given the air dates.
