I showed everyone the second cue I built tonight I also have the first cue I built ... This one was a little tougher and the ring work did not quite come out the way I had hoped ... So it will go in my show case as the first cue I built ... I built a player shaft with it and a Purple Heart break shaft with it ... The player shaft has a Everest tip on it the break shaft has a leather phenolic on it ... The second cue I built is the one I showed last night with the WHITE joint ... my first cue is the one with the Black joint and silver and purple heart ring work...

Very nice pics Butch.
Just so every1 know the handle on the cue with 2 shafts is teakwood and the maple shaft has a PH incert also. You did a great job on the finish .Looking forward to you building all of the next 1 and not just the sanding and spraying.Let it dry all the way b4 you sand ,lol..Jeff Eason

Not bad for your first couple cues. I think you will get the hang of it with some time. Give me a call if you need some help!
 
Thank you Doug ... Yes it is alot of fun and I have a long way to go for sure ... But I have Jeff working beside me and guys like you and Leon offering to help me with advice and your knowledge it iis going to come I just need to get more experience and it will only come with me continueing to build cues ... Me and Jeff keep talking and we both agree we need to upgrade machinary and alot of area's to get to where we want to go ... It will come but as you say it will all come with time ...

Thank you and don't be surprised if you get a call from me when I need some advice ...lol...
 
Your welcome! My phone is on 24-7. Except for them few hours a night when I try to sleep. Between 5:00am and 11:00 am! LOL
 
You guys should call Chris and see what you can work out since your so close to him. He is a great guy and great to deal with.
 
Doug When you talk about Chris what or who are you refering to Chris Hightower ???

Chris is a great guy and he is only about 4hrs. from us.
He lives up in the aera I was born in . Thanks Jeff Eason
