Bottom 10 custom cues in terms of resale value?

Least return on investment

I think you got your answer on the regional post. Cues that will hold there value and sell in days should you decide to do so are

Barry Szamboti
Dennis Searing
Hercek

Bender,Kiekel,Parry Weston,Bill Schick,Gina,Southwest and some others will all hold value but may not turn over night. I am not saying that other makers do not make good/great cues. All of the above are and have been in vogue and all have a waiting list so the only avenue you have is the secondary market or waiting.

You also have to weigh in the what you pay for it factor. If you pay $450.00 from a local or up and coming maker and his quality is good you can probably always recoup that. If you pay $1500.00 for a cue from a regional maker chances are that you will lose money if you sell it. Still you have to weigh that against the hours of pleasure you have derived from playing with it. I dont and didnt purchase my cues to sell, circumstances dictated those momants.

If you really need to know look through the old for sale adds here and see what moves and what does not.
