Bought a Rebco

I bought a 1980's Rebco 9" table yesterday and it will probably be in my garage some time in the next 3 weeks. It reminds me of the tables of my youth with the dark wood and leather drop pockets. It will have tight pockets and wear the Tournament Blue Simonis HR cloth with the Belgium Aramith balls. I will have to decide on a light soon and get it hung. I retired in July and another long Alaskan winter is starting, so I should get plenty of playing time and practice in. With access to a good table and Pat Diviney cues, I am quickly running out of excuses for being a mediocre pool payer. Many thanks to Mark Griffin who took the time and effort to offer me expert advice on tables, even though we have not seen each other in 40 years. Thanks so much Mark! Thanks to my wonderful wife who encouraged me to fulfill a dream. The "bucket list" is shrinking, but a trip to Vegas for a amateur tournament would be great some day.

Rebco are very good tables......Bob Bebb is the guy behind the business......located in Clovis, CA which is 3-4 miles from where I'm located in Fresno, CA.

Way to go, hope you get some time on the table before the state Tourny. Mark has always been a wealth of knowledge, and I don't see where you can go wrong with a Rebco.

I bought one years ago from the room on Muldoon that closed. It's the same as the two that the Palace used to have. Great 9' table with walnut top rails & classic design. Got rid of it a couple years ago to a family member. I just didn't play on the thing enough to justify having it.
