Bowling Ally Shafts and Coring Dowels For Sale

I have just processed my first batch of Bowling Ally shafts and dowels. The wood came from a local bowling ally that was installed in the early 70's. I will be obtaining more next week to process.

30" Shaft Dowels $10.00 each
30" Coring Dowels $8.00 each
18" Coring Dowels $6.00 each
14" Coring Dowels $5.00 each
12" Coring Dowels $4.00 each

Note to buyers: This is reclaimed bowling ally wood i have sorted as best as i can. The Shafts are 1" dowels and may have some nail holes along the sides which will turn out when tapered. The coring dowels may have some holes or larger defects which will be turned out or filled in the coring process.

Hi Reuben-
How straight is the grain on the shaft dowels? Does the grain make it from the center of one end to the other end without running off the dowel?

Shaft wood

I received 6 of the bowling alley shaft wood, the shafts I received were very, very nice. All were 15+ GRPI! Reuben was good to work with.
