TRUE, BUT I GIVE THE CUE WITH STACKED VENNERS MORE CREDIT, BECAUSE IT IS HARDER TO EXECUTE PERFECTLY. JUST MY OPINION THOUGH.

i feel the same. takes time to miter perfectly but to stack each veneer and put in 1 at a time like steps. mitered you just glue a crap load of veneers together and cut them up

two criteria here.

the effort and the result. so for those who know,,,,,assuming ONLY THE END RESULT, is one more apt to be successful splitting center and hiding the seam on a miter, or is one more apt to be similiarly successful on a stack?

naturally, the box style is harder because there's more to do at the base, so i prefer to focus on the points.
