Brand New Jack Justis Case.
I just got this 3X6 at the Super Billiards Expo. Jack and his wife are the nicest, and the cases are truly a reflection of the type of people they are.

Jack's attention to detail is amazing. Just a few examples:
The lid of the case isn't rivoted down - he use's a fancy hinging mechanism instead. This keeps your leather from creasing and wearing down.
The handle of the case is on the side that allows you to carry the case and have your right hand free for other things, like shaking people's hands.
The pocket zippers are on the side so that if you forget to zip them, and pick up your case, your stuff won't fall out.
It is this kind of attention to detail that makes a good case into a GREAT one. Plus, the lifetime warranty can't be beat.

Nice looking case.

How long do you think before the pictures are posted on EBbay by a foreign seller?

Did you get a better price than buying thru the web site?

How does it compare to your Instroke?

Gorgeous case. He doesnt live to far from me so Im thinking about going to see him and his work up close

I calculated that I save a bit over his web price, and a LOAD over the average eBay selling frenzy price ;)

How does it compare to your Instroke?
Aesthetics: I like the design better. Construction: It is made much better than the instroke overall: The tubes are better, the pockets are better designed, the lid is better, and it weighs a little less. I can't comment yet about the leather or the resilience of the case, but I know other people that have them, and theirs still look great after a couple years.

td873,

I ordered a custom case from Jack on Saturday. He'll have it to me by May 1st. It's going to match the veneers on my playing cue - black/red/white (actually silver accents). I'll post pics of it and my cue when I get it. I can't wait. He makes such quality cases.

And yeah, Jack and Toots are the nicest people you'd want to deal with.

Put a © notice on all pics ;)
That might slow them down...

Your idea is a Good One, but with Photo Shop you can remove the Copyright Notice 1, 2, 3. Worked as a FREELANCE Photojournalist 15 years, and at the end of my career I was amazed how thing could be changed 1,2,3, with Photo Shop. Copy Right Notices, Trademark Notices, and Lock are for Honest People. Thieves do not care. Go to any MAJOR City and see all the counter Handbag, Designer Jeans, Nikes, etc being sold openly on the corners. NUFF SAID….

Also it is like a Patient, it is only as good as the money you have to defend it.
:o

There's a fairly nice Justis on ebay right now. I've pretty much had 'em all. Justis, Widowmaker, Instroke Saddle. They're all real nice. I suppose the Justis was the nicest. I usually end up trading them for cues though....:)

Lucky for me I'm an Intellectual Property attorney (copyrights, trademarks, etc).

That is a good thing, wish I had you on my side when I was a Photojournalist being ripped off by Japaneese Publication for non payment of Photo Useage Fees.

But the Publication had more money than me, So I got the shaft, and no payment.
