Well, here she is, my brand new Murray Tucker cue. Most of you on AZ figured out who the maker was from the in-production pics I posted from time to time. To see it finished is to see a thing of beauty! I have to say that Tucker is a great guy! Really nice to chat with and loves to talk about cues. Just a true pleasure to work with!

Lots of nifty stuff with this cue: 5 ebony points into an ebony forearm. Veneers of blue, black, and burgundy. Ivory peacock inlays in the points. Flat-faced ivory joint with a 3/8-11 brass pin that is engraved "Tucker". Silver trimmed wood rings at a,b,c,d,e. Black textured leather wrap (pigskin I think). Veneered ivory windows in the butt-sleeve separated by slotted ivory diamonds (I just love the look of the butt-sleeve on this cue). Ivory butt-cap and finished off with a silver "Tucker 05" signature. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments guys! I forgot to mention the bells and whistles: ivory ferrules and Moori tips, hehe.

Sweet cue man! That was the one that he had on his site before. You are so lucky you got a cue made from him. Just my luck he stopped taking orders when I contacted him :( I bet it plays awesome, Murray makes great cues

It's all good Zack! If your ever in my neck of the woods, you are more than welcome to hit with any of my cues.

Really a beauty by Murray--his work looks very precise and clean. Is that Macassar ebony? Shafts look like top quality maple. How would you describe the hit in terms of stiff-flexible?

Awesome cue! I'm a sucker for Ebony on Ebony cues. Are the veneers around the windows mitered?

The cue hits STIFF! Damn near rattled my teeth out and I LIKE IT!!! I am just in awe of how superb this cue came out. When I was running ideas by Murray, I was day dreaming and imagining how nice the cue would look. Sure enough, Murray has outdone himself and truly made this cue dream come true. Can't say enough about the cue and about Tucker. Icing on the cake? Murray took the pics! Actually all the pics I posted of this cue in progress from start to finish were all taken by Murray. Excellent photo skills! I'm glad everyone is enjoying this thread!

Dude are you really an IronChef?

I know Ricky personally so I can answer that question: YES!

Next season you will see Ricky ascend into kitchen stadium holding his Tucker in one hand and his Fanelli in the other, crossed in front of his face like a pair of samurai swords.

He will then twirl his Skip and SW like batons, before he starts to juggle all four cues while looking into the camera with a smug smile.

-Roger (awesome cue Ricky, you dog!)
