Break cue questions

My break stick is a Cuetec Strickland J.B. / 18oz. / waterbuffallo tip / works perfeclty for me. I'm a small dude 5'6" / 150lbs but I can waste the rack if needed.

My only other comment would be, I rarely break as hard as I can. I will use a controlled cut break, or maybe a little off speed to gain cueball control at all cost! I've beat alot of guys when I was breaking half speed with control, and they were unleashing the cannon, and scratching, or jumping off the table.....G

I break the same way you do 90% of the time. Yet on some tables (and we've all been there) nothing seems to go on the break. Changing cueball position doesn't seem to help. Opponents breaking from a certain spot comes up empty for me. Maybe I just need a new tip. On the other hand this Xtreme tip on the X Breaker has me intrigued!

Try it, you'll like it.I havent done scientific tests but the Xbreaker Tip does seem to hold chalk better and the hit is definitely softer. It holds chalk through simple static electricity which makes sense.

It's well made and im real happy with mine and everyone who tries mine likes it. I know Richard a little bit. He is quite quality conscious! I think he has definitely made a superior product.
