break cues choices

hi all!

like to get your inputs on y break cue purchase. now that i have a play coming in next week i like to know if you guys can help me out with a break cue. custom or production. i was thinking of getting an andy gilbert jump/break but i was thinking the only thing i notice really good about it is the portability coz you never have to bring two separate cues like a break only cue and a short jump cue. and even thinking of having andy or ted harris customize me a break only cue without the jump joint.
in production cues i was thinking of getting the BK or will try the BK2. but it seem sthat the only feature thats really new in the BK2 different from BK1 is the ferrule material and the phenolic tip. and maybe a new logo design. but to me the BK2 is like no different to the other cue that has the phenolic tips or the phenolic ferule/tip combo. i read that teh BK2 has a stronger joint but not sure though. i got a good advance advice from one-pocket -player here he had a picone white diamond tip on his BK1 and he says it breaks pretty good. personally i hate phenolic tips and want a cue that is not a jump break and has phenolic tip and is like every break cue out there? i fyou can remember i alos checked out madison bobs site with his sneaky pete with his special ferrule and has no itp, but i think its about the same with the fererule/tip combo. and for a sneaky pete at 300? in fairness its custom right?
honestly i dont know anymore whats really a good brak cue for the money, i dont want to go cheap either since the break cue for me is crucial when i play 15 ball rotation, you really need a good spread of balls to run out. hope you guys can help me!thanks!--diablo
