Break + Jump Cue

I've been using an Alex Brick dymondwood break/jump with a samsara ultra hard tip and it's the best money I've ever spent, and I've tried BK3's and other break cues but this one is simply amazing. I really feel bad for the balls after I break a rack.

Check out the Players HXTP2 Pure X Jump / Break Cue. I've had it for about a year now and I love it. Jumps effortlessly and tons of configuration options.

If ur not on budget go with #1 lomax #2 gilbert or #3 brick best lower cost #1 Poison #2 Players pure x. I my self use a poison and love it.

People swear by Gilberts and Lomax. I don't really jump so I just have a basic break cue. I had an Alex Brick and it didn't really work out for me, I had one and just could not break accurately with it. Ridiculous how well it jumped though.

Any recommendations for a Break/Jump cue in one?

Rather than recommend a cue, I would like to point out that there are some differences one wants in a shaft for breaking and a shaft one wants for jumping.

Jump Cue:: light shaft, flexible shaft, light Ferrule, light joint, phenolic tip

Break cue:: stiff shaft, ferrule that can take damage, joint that can take bending moments when tip hits cloth, phenolic tip.

I just don't wee how one can get both in one shaft.

For me, a G10 tip and ferrule combo is the best break jump tip I have used. Jumping with it is near effortless and breaking is very good.

Try out different ones if you can locally to help you with your purchase. Different stuff works different for all of us.
