Juan has sent me samples of tips for many years now to test. All I have tried were way too hard for my taste until now. In the last samples he sent one he called, "Kind of medium soft." It is a touch harder than the Lepro, but held it's shape and plays pretty good. If it was just a touch softer it would be perfect for me. So I can now say that Juan has produced a good all around playing tip, comparable to a medium or quick Moori, but not exactly like either. It has it's own unique hit, but it is definitely a playing tip. It is a three layer tip. All other brand tips with only a few layers I tried mushroomed bad, but not this one. I don't know what he does, but his treatment makes the tips hold their shape.
