break shaft question?

i know that is probably the wrong section but i didnt get much of a response in the main forum, so i'm putting it up here hoping for more luck, hope nobody minds. if so, i apologize. thanks

i was wondering if predator had a special break shaft for the BK or Bk2. or is it a 314-2 with a break tip? if it is a 314-2, those of you who have tried it, how does it break? i have a spare 314-2 that i was thinking of putting a hard tip on, and was wondering if it would break the same as the BK or BK2? what opinions do you guys have? thanks in advance,

It is a different shaft...different taper, different ferrule, different tip, and probably different construction under the ferrule.
