Break Speed App for android.

I have the break speed app on my phone. I like it and it seems to be accurate.
In the settings, there is an option for an "alternate recognizer...for experts only".
I have no idea what this does. I checked FAQ'S on website....nothing. I tried contacting
App developer....address given does not work. I tried the option but it doesn't seem to
do anything. Anybody know what it is for?
 
Well if you must ask, clearly you aren't an expert yet. Yeah I'm totally kidding I have no clue either. Hehehe
 
It allows you to find the two contact points (stick-> cue ball and cue ball -> rack) yourself in the audio wave form, rather than letting the app figure it out for you. I've got the iPhone version.

Ok. I experimented with waveform when the app showed me I had a 53 mph break. I knew
It had to be a mistake. Didnt eat my spinach that day. Ill check it out.
 
It might be refering to the algorithm designed for recognize the breaking sound on BreakRak (tm). Why it change the wording to "expert only", I have no idea.
