Overall results

Successful breaks (made at least one ball and did not foul) -- 58% (80 of 138) for match winners, 52% (72 of 139) for match losers, and 55% (152 of 277) in total

Breaker won the game -- 60% (83 of 138) for match winners, 41% (57 of 139) for match losers, and 51% (140 of 277) in total

Break-and-run games on all breaks -- 19% (26 of 138) for match winners, 17% (23 of 139) for match losers, and 18% (49 of 277) in total

Break-and-run games on successful breaks -- 33% (26 of 80) for match winners, 32% (23 of 72) for match losers, and 32% (49 of 152) in total

Here's a breakdown of the 277 games (for match winners and losers combined).

Breaker made at least one ball and did not foul:
Breaker won the game: 94 (34% of the 277 games)
Breaker lost the game: 58 (21%)

Breaker fouled on the break:
Breaker won the game: 5 (2%)
Breaker lost the game: 14 (5%)

Breaker broke dry (without fouling):
Breaker won the game: 41 (15%)
Breaker lost the game: 65 (23%)

Therefore, whereas the breaker won 51% (140 of 277) of all games,
He won 62% (94 of 152) of the games in which the break was successful (made at least one ball and did not foul).
He won 37% (46 of 125) of the games in which the break was unsuccessful (fouled or dry).

Break-and-run games -- The 49 break-and-run games represented 18% of all 277 games, 35% of the 140 games won by the breaker, and 32% of the 152 games in which the break was successful (made a ball and didn't foul).

With alternating breaks, B&R "packages" of the normal type are not possible. But we can still look at the breaks of a given player and see how many he ran on his own successive breaks, and we can call these "alternate-break packages." The 49 break-and-run games consisted of 5 alternate-break 2-packs (1 each by Morra, Immonen, Orcollo, Yapp, and Filler), and 39 singles.

10-balls on the break -- No 10-balls were made on the break.

Miscellany from the data for the 2021 International Bigfoot 10-Ball Challenge:

• The most balls made on a single break was 5, done twice, once by Grabe (he won the game by B&R) and once by Al Shaheen (on a fouled break, but he won the game).

• The average number of balls made on the break was 0.8 (this includes dry and fouled breaks). On successful breaks (made at least one ball and did not foul), the average was 1.3.

• 40% (112 of 277) of the games ended in one inning – 18% (49) won by the breaker (B&R) and 23% (63) won by the non-breaker. 14% (38 of 277) of the games lasted more than 3 innings. The longest game ended on the non-breaker's 8th visit to the table.

• 32% (88 of 277) of the games were run out by the player who was at the table following the break. These run-outs were:
- By the breaker after successful breaks (B&R games) – 32% (49 of 152)
- By the non-breaker after fouls on the break – 63% (12 of 19)
- By the non-breaker after dry breaks – 25% (27 of 106)

• The player who made the first ball after the break:
- Won the game in that same inning 55% of the time (151 of 277)
- Won the game in a later inning 20% of the time (55 of 277)
- Lost the game 26% of the time (71 of 277)

• The match loser won an average of 7.5 games in these races to 11. Two matches went to hill/hill; the fewest games won in a match was 3, in the Finals.

• The longest match in elapsed time, at 152 minutes, was Pagulayan d. Gorst 11-9. The match highest in average minutes per game, at 7.7, was Yapp d. De Luna 11-7. The elapsed time was measured from the lag until the winning ball was made (or conceded), so it includes time for racking and timeouts.

• The shortest match in elapsed time, at 86 minutes, was Filler d. Immonen 11-3. The match lowest in average minutes per game, at 5.2, was Gomez d. Orcollo 11-8.

• The average elapsed time for these 15 races to 11 was 116 minutes, averaging 6.3 minutes per game.

• Breaking fouls averaged 1 for every 14.6 games, other fouls 1 for every 4.5 games, and missed shots about 1 for every 1.7 games.

• About 45% of the games involved one or more safeties.
