There is a guy in my league who has an Aerorack. He is able to get good racks (at least for a 2nd ball BB break). I tried his rack a few times and I couldn’t get as good a rack as did with the wood rack. Given that he gets a decent rack with it, it could be that it just requires practice with the rack and my failure (and maybe the failure of the refs here) is due to lack of familiarity.

Sure it’s not that bad. More likely they don’t know what they’re doing OR they just don’t put enough effort/time into it.
