Here are the break statistics from six 9-ball matches streamed by Accu-Stats from the Derby City Classic. The first-listed match was played on Thursday, 1/31; the other five matches were played today.

The conditions for this event included: Diamond 9-foot table with pro-cut pockets, Simonis cloth, Diamond wooden rack, winner breaks, rack your own, break from anywhere behind the line, no jump cues allowed, all slop counts, and a 40-second shot clock (today's matches only).

The 6 matches (87 games) were as follows:
Hohmann def. Appleton 9-6​
Bustamante d. Eckert 9-5​
Pagulayan d. Feijen 9-6​
Dechaine d. Van Boening 9-2​
Pagulayan d. Dechaine 9-8​
Pagulayan d. Putnam 9-6​

Overall results -- The breaker made at least one ball (and did not foul) 69% of the time (60 of 87), won 57% of the games (50 of 87), and broke and ran 28% of the games (24 of 87).

Here's a little more detailed breakdown of the 87 games.

Breaker made at least one ball and did not foul:
Breaker won the game: 40 (46% of the 87 games)​
Breaker lost the game: 20 (23%)​
Breaker fouled on the break:
Breaker won the game: 3 (3%)​
Breaker lost the game: 2 (2%)​
Breaker broke dry (without fouling):
Breaker won the game: 7 (8%)​
Breaker lost the game: 15 (17%)​
Therefore, whereas the breaker won 57% (50 of 87) of all games,​
He won 67% (40 of 60) of the games in which he made at least one ball on the break and did not foul.​
He won 60% (3 of 5) of the games in which he fouled on the break.​
He won 32% (7 of 22) of the games in which he broke dry but did not foul.​
He won 37% (10 of 27) of the games in which he either fouled on the break or broke dry without fouling.​

9-balls on the break: The 24 break-and-run games included two 9-balls on the break (2.3% of the 87 breaks).

Streamed games I watched from the 2013 Derby City Classic:

10-foot 10-ball -- 51% (85 of 166)​
9-foot 9-ball -- 69% (60 of 87)​

Breaker won the game:
10-foot 10-ball -- 46% (77 of 166)​
9-foot 9-ball -- 57% (50 of 87)​

Break-and-run games:
10-foot 10-ball -- 15% (25 of 166)​
9-foot 9-ball -- 28% (24 of 87)​

Caveat -- The number of games represented here is still pretty small, so generalizing from these results might not be appropriate.
