Here are the aggregate break statistics from today's final five matches streamed from the Joss Tour's Ocean State 9-Ball Tournament at Snookers in Providence RI.
The conditions for this event included: Brunswick Gold Crown 9-foot table, Simonis 860 cloth, winner breaks, players' option on who racks, break from the box, fouls on all balls, no jump cues allowed, and all slop counts (with the possible exception of the 9-ball on the break in a foot-rail pocket if the breaker racked).
The 5 matches (6 sets, 82 games) were as follows:
Overall results -- The breaker made at least one ball (and did not foul) 61% of the time (50 of 82), won 61% of the games (50 of 82), and broke and ran 26% of the games (21of 82).
Here's a little more detailed breakdown of the 82 games.
9-balls on the break:
Only one 9-ball was made on the break. It was spotted and the breaker (M. Daigle) ran out the game. It was not clear whether it was supposed to be spotted (they played rack your own that match).
