Break to Jump/Break Conversion

Hi all,

I have a break cue that I absolutely love, but it's strictly a break cue.

I don't jump all that often, and I'm not a highly competitive tournament player, so I'm not looking for the best jump cue on the planet. However, it would be nice to have a jump/break cue that I could use in a pinch.

Is there anyone out there who could cut my break cue above the wrap, add a joint and convert this into a jump/break cue? If so, about how much would that run? If there is anyone in Southern CA that would be able to do this, then all the better.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mike

my opinion

Can it be done? yes by any competent repair guy or cue builder....the only thing is the break cue that you love, you probably wont love it once its done. If I was you I would find a separate jump cue, especially if you dont plan on using it that much...again this is my opinion ..do what you want.

I agree with the above post... I would buy a jump cue with the same pin as your breaker and use the breaker shaft... Definitely cheaper.

With the right pin, it will change the way it breaks very little, if at all.
However, I've always thought that what makes a break cue great, makes a jump cue poor, and vice versa. You'd be better off investing in a dedicated jumper, in my opinon.
