This is how I taught myself how to break in 9 ball on the bar box. First get Joe Tucker's "Racking Secrets #1". You can learn W/O it, but it will take you much longer to learn and many, many breaks. I would get yourself a MR or other brand of template.
You need to know where the CB is going from different areas behind the headstring and different speeds. Once you can break and leave the CB where you want it at slow and med. break...the rest is easy, but you must know where the CB will stop or forget about it.
If you bought Joe's Racking Secrets Video #1, just load the rack his way. After you get his way down, change some balls around and you'll find out there are many ways to load the rack to get easy RO's.
I have a few loads that with a soft break you almost always have a low ball combo on the 9, like (3 ball, 4, and 5 ball). Johnnyt
