Breaking Aids

A few weeks ago at a local room I saw a gentlemen breaking with a break aid. It seemed to be some kind of contraption the kept the balls racked in a 9 ball rack but has the head ball exposed. So after he broke he just slid the thing back to the spot and kept breaking. I didn't want to go over and ask because apparently the guy was a douch bag to everyone else their so I wasn't trying to ask him. Has anyone seen or heard of such a thing?

There is a device called the Break Rak that sounds similar to that. A member here makes(?) and sells it, he goes by CeeBee I believe. I have never used it but it gets great reviews and seems like a very good product.

Here is a link for the break rak http://www.breakrak.com/

The BreakRak is a great training aid. It allows you to spend the time perfecting your break instead of racking. Another benefit is it provides a consistent rack so the only variable to deal with is you.

BreakRak Training Aid

Great break training tool!!! A Musthave tool for cue ball control on your break. If you are serious in using this breakrak tool, it also shows you other flaws in your break setup and stroke. GREAT TOOL!! P.S. His book "The Great Break Shot" is a musthave w/ the BreakRak training tool. IMHO R.
