Breaking Speed

Ok, i know in the main forum someone has a subject about who has the fastest.

But i am curious to ask if you know how fast your break speed is?

Now someone said that Sarah was clocked at 27.5mph one time.

I myself i have no clue as to how fast my break is?

I do know that on a 7ft, i break a lil softer, so i can control the cue better.

But on a 9ft, i tend to go all out and break as hard as possible lol.

I have had a chance to have my break speed checked many times over the years. I believe I will get a chance to do so this weekend as well. I know that the hardest I have ever hit the balls was around 29 mph. That was in Vegas two years ago on a 7ft table. In Valley Forge 3 years ago I broke the balls 27 mph to win the break contest at the Sardo booth on a 9ft table.

I don't know how hard I am hitting the balls lately. I'm guessing it is lower than those two recorded numbers. I only break that hard on occasion. It takes alot of practice to hit the balls that hard and control the cueball. I don't want to injure too many people with flying cueballs :)
