Breaking with your cue?

I break with my playing cue because I like how it feels in my hand and I can control the break well with it. Also I don't like the idea of carrying around a bunch of sticks. I'm a one lady, one cue kind of guy.

I had a friend who usually use the house cues to break because he just got his new cue. Eventually he got tired of switching between cues and treating it like it's made of glass. He finally converted and break with his playing cue too.

I broke with my 314 for 5 years or so never had any problems. My tips lasted 8-9 months and my ferrule never cracked. I called predator and asked them if I shouldn't break with my cue because of the shaft and it's thin ferrule and they said if it ever broke because of my break it'd be replaced on them so I never saw a problem breaking with my playing cue.

A friend of mine broke the shaft collar of his bloodworth sneaky by breaking with it a few weeks ago. I still swear by my J&J...
