Hello Keith, I have been to a couple of clinics and they preach the hand and eye coordination. No one has ever explained to me the proper breathing technique. I have noticed that when I am doing my practice strokes to my finish position that I am holding my breath. A few articles I have read says to take a deep breath and let it out so do you only take the one breath? Could you explain this a little better?
As far as taking a deep breath and letting it out, I like to take a deep breath and hold it in. It seems like it sort of makes me focus better. Then again, it's all part of a mental routine. I have found myself biting down on my teeth, and instead of letting all the air out, I tend to hold it in. It works for me in spots.
